FTD: network tester

FTD: network tester

LoRaWAN / Sigfox

Qualify and validate your network

The Field Test Device allows you to qualify and validate the IoT network in a geographical area.

Available in LoRaWAN and Sigfox versions, over several regions of the world, it is the essential tool to ensure the success of your IoT projects.

Whether at the beginning of your project, to evaluate the available network, or during deployment, to define the best location for your sensors, it it supports you in your decision making.

Highlights of the IoT sensor

  • Immediate viewing of network coverage data (radio power and received signal strength)
  • Geolocation of measurement points
  • Reference product highly praised by public network operators
  • Available versions:
    • LoRaWAN: EU863-870 / US902-928 / AS923-1
    • Sigfox: RC1 / RC4

RADIO-MAPPING & FIELD TEST DEVICE

Why carry out a radio-mapping study?

Radio mapping is an essential stage in any IoT project. It guarantees the success of the project in the field.

This network survey, carried out using the Field Test Device, enables you to analyse the LoRaWAN or Sigfox network coverage at the location where your IoT sensors are to be deployed.

So you can avoid setbacks when deploying the sensors on-site or afterward.

FTD can also be used during deployment to validate the presence of the network at the exact location of your sensors.
