Optimising energy performance in multi-family housing

ADOMA customer case study

Find out how PROCHALOR and SEMCRA, together with Adeunis IoT sensors, are improving energy management and thermal comfort in ADOMA housing.

CHALLENGE: Optimising energy performance

Energy management and thermal comfort are key issues for ADOMA, which manages a large number of social and collective housing units. These are also the driving forces behind the deployment of this IoT project.

PROCHALOR and SEMCRA were selected to maintain and operate the thermal installations as part of a call for tenders in the Île-de-France region. They called on Adeunis solutions to monitor and adjust energy consumption in collective housing in real time.

SOLUTION: IoT to improve energy performance

  • IoT sensors for measuring room temperature, installed in several homes.
  • Connected sensors for monitoring outdoor temperature.
  • IoT sensors for monitoring the flow and return temperatures of domestic hot water loops.
  • LoRaWAN connectivity for secure, autonomous management.
  • KARE+ pre-configuration platforms for quick and easy sensor installation.

In this downloadable case you will find:

  • The challenge: to reduce energy costs in collective housing by optimising the use of collective heating, while guaranteeing thermal comfort.

  • The solution deployed: the installation of 3,000 Adeunis IoT sensors to monitor the ambient temperature in the dwellings, the outside temperature and the flow and return temperature of the domestic hot water loop. All deployed with LoRaWAN connectivity and the KARE+ solution.

  • The benefits: reduced energy consumption, improved thermal comfort and optimised maintenance operations.

  • A focus on thermal regulation: understanding the challenges of optimising collective heating and thermal regulation.
