PULSE: impulse interface

PULSE: impulse interface

LoRaWAN / Sigfox sensor

Turn all your meters and pulse output into smart equipment

This sensor enables you to read and analyse consumption data from your water or electricity meters to help you save energy.

It can also be used to count the number of cycles of a piece of equipment, so you can plan its maintenance.

This wireless sensor is designed for easy connection to electricity, water or heat meters, or any other equipment with a pulse output.

Highlights of the IoT sensor

  • 2 configurable pulse inputs for communicating any meter or equipment with a pulse output (dry contact, REED, S0 relay or open collector)
  • Over 15 years of autonomy (according to version and configuration)
  • Detection of fraud and leaks
  • Flow monitoring for a meter
  • Data transmission modes: periodic and/or event-trigged
  • Data logging for optimal autonomy
  • Local and remote configurable of the IoT sensor
  • Compatible with KARE
  • Available versions:
    • LoRaWAN: EU863-870 / US902-928 / AU915-928 / AS923
    • Sigfox: RC1 / RC2 / RC4
    • NB-IoT-LTE-M
    • 6-wire version
    • ATEX version

FEATURES OF THE PULSE IoT SENSOR

What actions are carried out by the connected sensor?

Alert

And/or trigger an alarm when:

  • a fraud is detected
  • the flow rate exceeds a threshold (high/low)
  • a leak is detected.

MONITOR

Periodically report water, electricity and heat meter readings:

  • index transmission
  • flow monitoring (min/max)

Count the number of cycles of a piece of equipment and anticipate its maintenance.

Description of the IoT temperature connected sensor

What are the technical characteristics of the connected sensor?

Features

  • Two connectable 3-wire meters or 1 connectable 5-wire meter
  • Periodic transmission of meter index values or equipment cycles (with or without logging of measured values) and/or when flow rate thresholds are exceeded (high/low) and/or when a leak is detected.
  • Redundancy with configurable number of data repeats per frame
  • 1 fraud input to detect one or more status changes on each channel
  • Local configuration via a USB-C port and remote configuration via the network, including setting of periodicity, transmission modes and alarm thresholds
  • Product error, configuration error and low battery alerts
